Fitness and AI Disclaimer

FormLevel can help you review movement and organize a routine, but it cannot replace medical care or an in-person professional assessment.

1. Not medical or professional care

FormLevel provides general educational fitness and nutrition information. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, physical therapy, emergency guidance, or a professional coach's individualized assessment. No clinician-patient, dietitian-client, or trainer-client relationship is created by using the service.

2. Computer-vision and AI limits

Pose tracking estimates body landmarks from a two-dimensional recording. Camera angle, frame rate, lighting, clothing, body proportions, mobility aids, occlusion, recording quality, and movement outside the frame can change the result. Rep counts, exercise labels, joint angles, depth labels, posture notes, and generated coaching can be wrong or incomplete.

AI-generated workout and meal plans may omit relevant context, misunderstand a selection, suggest an unsuitable progression or starting load, or include a food or movement that is inappropriate for you. A check-in can improve later suggestions, but it does not make the output a professional assessment. Always review an output before acting on it.

3. Exercise involves risk

Physical activity can cause fatigue, falls, strains, injury, worsening of a health condition, or other harm. Use a clear area, stable equipment, suitable load, and a range of motion you can control. Stop immediately if you feel sharp pain, chest pain, faintness, severe shortness of breath, loss of balance, or other concerning symptoms.

Seek emergency help for a medical emergency. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning or changing exercise if you are pregnant, injured, recovering from surgery, taking medication that affects exercise, or have a cardiovascular, neurological, metabolic, musculoskeletal, eating-related, or other condition that may affect safe participation.

4. Starting-weight estimates

A suggested dumbbell range is an estimate based on the experience level, unit system, and equipment you selected plus the exercise's general movement category. FormLevel does not measure your strength, observe the weight you actually use, test your technique under load, or know your fatigue, injury history, available weight increments, or current physical condition. The estimate is not a one-repetition maximum and cannot establish that a weight is safe.

Start at the light end or below it when unsure. If a weight feels too heavy, changes your technique, or is difficult to control, do not push through it; stop and choose a lighter weight. A "too heavy" or "too light" selection is used only as feedback for later plan adjustments. It is not real-time monitoring and does not replace your judgment or qualified supervision.

5. Nutrition limits

Meal suggestions are general ideas, not a prescription or treatment. FormLevel does not verify every ingredient, label, preparation method, allergy risk, nutrient amount, or interaction with a condition or medication. Height, weight, and body-fat entries are self-reported, body-fat readings can vary, and any resulting portion examples remain approximate. Check ingredients yourself and seek guidance from a qualified clinician or registered dietitian for allergies, eating disorders, pregnancy, diabetes, kidney disease, or other medical needs.

6. Minors

FormLevel is not for children under 13. Teen users should have a parent or legal guardian review any plan and should prioritize age-appropriate instruction, supervision, technique, recovery, and nutrition rather than aggressive dieting or unsupervised maximal lifting.

7. Your responsibility

  • Use your own judgment and do not ignore pain or professional medical advice.
  • Choose conservative loads and progress gradually.
  • Have a qualified professional assess technique when safety or pain is a concern.
  • Do not rely on a single score, rep label, or generated sentence as proof that a movement is safe.
